Longo IKA Award for Excellence". Sensei Stevenson was one of three people in the International
Kokondo Association to recieve this yearly honor. Master Longo passed away last June and will be greatly
missed by us all.

to train with the other Kokondo dojos (schools) in the surrounding area.
He has visited dojos in Wenatchee Wa. to train with Mr. Richard Dinius, to Pullman, WA with
Mr. Sheldon Shirey, in Boise, ID, with Mr. Vince Peterson, and Rexburg, ID with Mr. Brad Kippen.
Each of these Kokondo instructors has come to Richland to work with Mr. Stevenson
and his classes.
Sensei Stevenson continues to host seminars in Richland, WA. At these events Shihan Arel, IKA Masters, and high ranking instructors visit to give personal instruction to those in attendance. Sensei Stevenson and his students also
